**Bank Holiday for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral**
The State Funeral for Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II will take place at Westminster Abbey next Monday, September 19th. Consequently, a national bank holiday has been announced.
Test Valley Borough Council services will therefore reflect the additional bank holiday.
Bin Collections
There will be no bin collections on Monday 19th September. Your bin day (black bin next week) will therefore be a day later than usual as per most bank holiday weeks.
We will do the very best we can to cover collections on Saturday 24th September, arranging an additional weekend collection at short notice is though challenging and therefore if bins are missed they will be collected on Monday 26th September.
Car Parking Charges
As per all bank holidays, there will be no charge for parking in Test Valley car parks on Monday 19th September.
Council Services
Our offices will be closed for the bank holiday. The reception areas at the Former Magistrates Court in Romsey and Beechurst and The Lights in Andover will reopen on Tuesday 20th September.
