It was great to attend the 30th Anniversary of The Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign and the Pink Ribbon in Parliament.
This October new Estée Lauder Companies UK& Ireland -commissioned attitudinal research found that:
• Nearly eight in ten women in the UK aren’t checking their breasts regularly
• A third admit they never check themselves for signs of breast
• Self-checking rates are lowest amongst South Asian women, women under 40
and Black women
ELC UK & Ireland has partnered with Breast Cancer Now to create a self-check leaflet that illustrates the signs and symptoms to look out for when checking your breasts and aims to encourage all to regularly self-check and not to put off visiting their GP if they have any concerns. You can view the leaflet here: https://www.elcompanies.co.uk/.../the-importance-of-self...
