A3090 between Ower and Romsey remains closed.
A27 from Mainstone to Embley also remains closed.
Traffic lights are still in place on the A3057 between the M271 roundabout and Ashfield. Queues still in place, which will likely get longer as the evening goes on.
Hoe Lane remains closed.
Pound Lane between Ampfield and N Baddesley is also closed.
Ground water levels are exceptionally high, that is causing water to run onto the road in a number of places and we have no way to contain or control it.
For example, the A3057 has water on one side coming from a flooded field, where the ditch is already full as a consequence of ground water seepage. On the other side of the road water is flowing out of a flooded utility manhole, again as a result of being overwhelmed by ground water.
