I'm afraid Southern Gas have had to upgrade their emergency works on Alma Road to now include temporary lights. Sorry.
The temporary lights are due to be in place until at least Friday evening.
I've made Hampshire Highways aware of the chaos this will cause and they have insisted therefore that SGN arrange for the lights to be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm daily.
We are also looking at ways by which the phasing of the Station Road junction lights can be synced to reduce delays too.
If you can avoid Alma Road for the rest of the week I would do so.
