Festival Quilts Provide Stunning Display in the Abbey
With the Romsey Festival 2023 having been officially launched on Friday there is now a great opportunity to wander around the Abbey to look at the brilliant exhibition by Romsey Quilters, marking their 40th Anniversary year.
The exhibition is a truly inclusive experience, with sensory samplers of quilts to touch, large print brochures and even one in braille. Every member of Romsey Quilters has been encouraged to exhibit and there are also demonstrations of quilting going on, hopefully to inspire people to take up this incredible art.
There is also a Kelidoscope Raffle Quilt, with proceeds going to RomDag, it is absolutely stunning and I have my fingers crossed I have the lucky ticket.
