HCC have begun a consultation to confirm the route of Lockerley Footpath 25.
Part of the definitive line of Lockerley Footpath 25 has not been used for more than 60 years, during this time an alternative route has been in use and that part of the definitive line which runs through Painshill Farm has been obstructed 12-foot hedging and outbuildings. The family had thought that the path was officially diverted in the 70’s however there is no evidence of this. Hampshire County Council would like to process this application to rectify this long-standing anomaly.
