This has been a long week in Westminster, starting with a Select Committee visit on Monday to an Immigration Removal Centre and not finishing until Friday, with a number of private members bills in the House that I wanted to contribute to.

I went to look at a bus stop in Portchester this week....not any old bus stop, a shiny new one which allows buses to safely exit onto the Castle roundabout without causing them a delay.

This coming weekend is Small Business Saturday, a chance to celebrate all the great local businesses and I guess start Christmas shopping in earnest. The lights are looking fantastic in Romsey and this coming Saturday they go on in Stockbridge.

An evening of festive parish councils for me. As is tradition, festive fayre at Chilworth, followed by a walk to Romsey Town Hall to see everyone at Romsey Extra.
